1. What information do we collect from you?
eDogStore collects Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our site or when you send us information or communications. "Personal Data" means data that allows someone to identify you, including, for example, your name, address, e-mail address, as well as any information about you that is associated with or linked to, or could be linked to, any of the foregoing data.
"Anonymous Data" means data that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data.

2. How we collect Personal Data
To use our platform to transact, you will need to provide us with a valid email address. Depending on the services you choose, we may collect additional information, for example: If you are a seller, we will collect additional information such as payment information, contact number and a buisness address. Please note that for security and performance reasons, such content may need to be accessed by internal personnel from time to time.
Your username / business name is publicly displayed. Other people may see the date you joined; ratings, reviews and related photos for items you are selling or have sold, your profile information, items you listed for sale and your shop pages.
We use technologies such as cookies, clear gifs, log files and flash cookies for several purposes, including to help understand how you interact with our site and services, in order to provide a better experience. The information we collect may include, without limitation, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, computer/mobile device operating system and browser type, type of mobile device, the characteristics of the mobile device, the address of a referring web site (if any), and the pages you visit on our website and mobile applications and the times of visit.
When you connect to us or register an account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook using an application programming interface (API) or when you connect to us through third-party applications or services, you will be granting us permission to receive information from these third-party applications. As part of the buying and selling process, we will facilitate the essential sharing of information between the two users involved in the transaction, such as the purchaser's email address, shipping address, and payment information. By making a sale or a purchase on eDogStore you are directing us to share your information in this way.

However, we will share your Personal Data with our third party suppliers who need to process your data in order to fulfill your request, such as to deliver electronic newsletters and promotional e-mails. These third parties are required under contract not to use your Personal Data other than to provide the services requested by eDogStore and to guarantee to our satisfaction that they have sufficient processes in place to ensure the security of your data whilst it is in their care.

Whilst eDogStore has taken significant steps to ensure that your Personal Data is not intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed by unauthorised persons, you should know that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure therefore we cannot totally eliminate security risks associated with Personal Data.
We use Payment Card Industry compliant third-party payment services and we do not store your credit card information. We encrypt sensitive information (such as
credit card numbers) using secure socket layer technology (SSL) which it is
then passed to our payment processing partners.
We may need to transfer your data outside the UK (and possibly to places outside the European Economic Union) and by using eDogStore, or responding to our communications, you consent to us transferring any such data in this way.

You are entitled to see the information held about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. Published content, such as product reviews, are not subject to the provisions of GDPR and will not be deleted but will cease to be associated with your personal information.
